The Scientific Conference of Microscopy Society Malaysia (SCMSM) is an annual event that become a platform for researchers, academics and scientists in highlighting the results of research and analysis using microscopes or other imaging instruments by targeting the participation of students, researchers, technical staffs and suppliers.

The conference has an excellent reputation which is strongly recognized within the local and regional microscopy communities, making this meeting a key event in the yearly meeting calendar for hundreds of multidisciplinary scientists and industrial experts. By emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches that integrate life and physical sciences, this conference which organising by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and Microscopy Society Malaysia (MSM) becomes a platform in providing the opportunities for the researchers, academicians and scientists to present and disseminate tangible research output.

The 33rd Scientific Conference of Microscopy Society of Malaysia (SCMSM2025) will be held from 25th – 26th November 2025 at OPERO Hotel Southkey Johor Bahru, Johor.

All conference paper submissions will be peer-reviewed prior to acceptance. Accepted papers that fulfill the criteria will be published in :-
